Entry Requirements: |

A New Zealand university entrance qualification or an approved alternative, and a minimum number of credits in specified subjects. Selection is based on results from prior study, and the evaluation of supplementary material related to the music major. |
Aim of Qualification: |

Graduates will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the content and application of elements of both Engineering and Music disciplines. |
Contents: |

For the Engineering component, subjects may include: Biomedical engineering, chemical and materials engineering, civil engineering, computer systems engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, engineering science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, software engineering and structural engineering. For the Music component, subjects may include: Classical, composition, jazz, popular music, music studies. Courses in other subjects in Arts or other faculties may be included. For further information, refer to www.auckland.ac.nz |
Assessment: |

Courses will be assessed by projects, performances, seminars, portfolios, assignments or tests in course work and examination following standard guidelines and practices in the Faculties of Creative Arts and Engineering |
